On Friday we traveled up to Lowes Motor Speedway so that Michael and Jessica could see the racetrack. We took our van and the pimpmobile and traveled up the rode. We got to the speedway and we were told that we would have to wait for two hours before we could take the tour. We ate at Arby's and then went to the local Wal-mart and I bought my kids shoes and Michael and Jessica looked for their boys some souviners. We got back to the speedway and took the tour. You get to ride around the track in these big cargo vans and the tell you about the history of the track and drive you around the pits. Brian, Michael and the kids said that it wasnt' good enough because the vans only went 70 mph around the tack when the racecars go up to 200 mph. When we were done we stayed in the pits and took some pictures next to some of the cars that they use for the racecar driving schools. After that we had a picture of all of us in winners circle and then we headed out. Mom, Cindy and I had Brandon and Corbin in the pimpmobile and Brian took Michael and Jessica and Elista in the van. Well we got headed out at different times and got seperated. The pimpmobile headed back to my house and the van went to Concord Mills Mall. Mom, Cindy and I and the boys got lost and drove around Charlotte for awhile looking for I-77 we finally found it and then got stuck in traffic because of an accident. We didn't know that Brian and the others were at the mall having fun riding the go-carts. We eventually all ended up back at my house and we grilled hamburgers and hot dogs.

I'm just going to let everyone else tell about the big Carolina trip for Cindy, Michael, Jessica, and me. I was just happy to see how everyone has grown and spend some time with my far away family.
I can't believe it's all over with! And we even got by without the humongous heat and humidity that might have been!
Love,
Grandma Bear
